How Platitude works
Two questions, about two minutes. What they did, and what changed because of it. That is the whole form.
They read what you write. Whoever you nominate gets your words by email, without your name attached. So write it to them.
Try someone outside your own team first. Not a rule you can't break - you can still nominate your own team, it just needs a line about why it had to be them, and one of us reads it. If the reason is good, it goes through.
The score is not marking your writing. It checks there is something specific in there - a number, a name, a thing that happened. "Always helpful" could be about anyone; "found the scanner was hitting the old endpoint" could only be about one person.
Everyone nominated hears about it, win or not. One winner is announced at the end of the month.
